This email is meant to announce the beginning of nomination process for the 2022 AFT Adjunct-Contingent Caucus.

Notice of the open nominations period will be emailed on June 1, 2022, to all members in good standing. You will be able to make nominations until June 18th 8pm (Pacific), 11pm (Eastern).

You will send nominations for yourself or another via the following email address:
aft.acc.elections.2022@gmail.com

Any questions for our committee can also be emailed to aft.acc.elections.2022@gmail.com.

This email is announcing the opening of nominations for the AFT Adjunct-Contingent Caucus.

Nominations for all nine positions in the Caucus are open from today, June 1, 2022  until Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 8pm (Pacific), 11pm (Eastern).

The open positions are as follows:
•    President
•    Vice President
•    Secretary
•    Treasurer
•    Communications Officer
•    Organizing Officer
•    Members-at-Large (3)
o    Member representing the Western regions of the United States.
o    Member representing Central/Mountain regions of the United States
o    Member representing the Eastern regions of the United States

Please send nominations for yourself or another via the following email address:
aft.acc.elections.2022@gmail.com

On June 16th the Elections Committee will notify the nominees of their nomination. Nominees should respond via email of whether they accept or decline the nomination no later than Saturday, June 18, 2022, 8:00pm PST/11pm EST.

2 June 2022: Resend  of Previous Announcement With Spam Alert

For some reason all of my union e-mails are being dumped into spam. Several of you have the same issue and did not get my two emails about the nominations.

One theory is the spam filters flag e-mail that uses al capital letters. Below is my email about the nominations.

Hopefully everyone will be able to read it. Maybe contact your friends on the caucus to see if they received these election e-mails. Thanks!

23 June 2022: Check Your Spam For Ballots

Hi Everyone:

My name is Jessica Thompson, and I am on the election committee for 2022 along with Dennis Johnson and Eric Villepontoux.

We have been sending announcements about nominations and voting to every member of the caucus with an active email address since May 29th, and you can see a log of these here:

Further, every member of the caucus with an active email address was sent a ballot from ElectionBuddy on June 20th. The voting doesn't close until July 4th, so if you are interested in voting, check your spam/trash folders for your ballot. Searching your folders for "ElectionBuddy" should be helpful.

If you absolutely cannot find your ballot but want to vote, please contact me so I can look into the matter further and try to help.
